Practical Support
Welcoming a new baby is a magical time, which can also feel quite overwhelming. By establishing a bond of trust and offering steady, non-judgmental care, I am here to help you to navigate both the joy and the uncertainties with confidence.
I will be there when you need me, ensuring that you feel safe, supported, heard and respected throughout this special time, as you make choices for yourself, your baby and your family
Birth Doula Support
The moment when you welcome your baby stays in your heart forever, and my wish for you is that you feel empowered and deeply held as you make this journey.
We will share antenatal sessions to get to know each other, explore your unique preferences, and ensure you and your partner feel calm and ready for the day your baby arrives.
From the moment you invite me to be your doula, I will be available via text and online for any questions or a simple reassurance whenever you need it.
During the birth, whether at home or in hospital, I will be by your side with unwavering, steady support.
Once your baby is here, I will visit your home to celebrate your new beginning, lend listening ear and help you with any questions that arise as you settle in.
Postnatal Doula Support
The early weeks with a newborn can feel like a twilight world - a tender time full of love, wonder and joy, alongside sleepless nights, big emotions and many changes.
As your doula, I offer calm, practical and emotional support in your home, helping you grow in confidence as you discover your own way of parenting.
I can sit with you as you process your birth, hold your baby while you rest, gently guide you on newborn care, or simply make you a cup of tea and listen.
I will make everyday life seem a little lighter by providing a helping hand around the home. Together, we will create a calm, supported start for you and your baby.
Postnatal Doula Support
Research has shown that doula care is associated with improved outcomes, such as shorter labours, fewer medical interventions, and a decreased likelihood of caesarean birth. Most importantly, it has been found to foster a higher sense of satisfaction in the birth experience, whatever form the birth takes
"If a doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it"
